ABOUT ME

I have dedicated much of my professional education, time, energy, training, and resources to become a California licensed clinical psychologist.

This is my life’s work. My desire to work with others to improve their mental health, strengthen their relationships, and build communities of people willing to be vulnerable, honest, and courageous with the support of psychotherapy stems from my deep reverence for the human experience.

As a therapist, I work alongside my clients in solidarity. I know that life is not easy. At times, we all stumble and fall, get stuck, and hurt ourselves or others. As difficult as it is to acknowledge this reality, it cannot be denied. But there is hope. With psychological support and a desire to grow and learn as individuals and in community with those around us, we realize a brighter beauty, a deeper peace, and move towards being grounded in our Truth. It is this Truth that is unique to each individual, and that becomes a guiding star toward creating meaning and purpose in a sea of ups and downs.

My work is greatly influenced by my personal identity as a white cisgender woman, partner, mother, daughter, sister, friend, wilderness leader, and athlete. In order to provide my clients with the best psychological care possible, I continue to examine and engage in the exploration of how my personal and professional identities intersect. This process is crucial to reducing the chance that any personal bias and assumption will negatively interrupt your therapeutic experience.

Please see my Curriculum Vitae for a detailed account of my education, training, professional employment, and experience.
